I have been at this so long that I can reasonably estimate how much it will cost to do a project in advance. If I miss the mark, the risk is mine. I keep doing it until the client is satisfied without further charge*. This approach rarely fails me because I do work that satisfies my customers the first time.
*Arbitrary, last minute changes (“My wife decided she doesn’t like that color”) are billed extra.
• I do not mark up outside charges such as customer or stock photography, video production, translation, etc. If outside charges threaten to exceed those included in my initial estimate, I obtain prior authorization.
• I generally request 30% down payment. I like to get paid promptly on delivery.
• All materials created by Running Dog are the property of the client after payment of final invoice.
MY FIXED-FEE, SATISFACTION-QUARANTEED POLICY.
